The Queensland Sunshine Coast Shires of Noosa and Maroochy merged with Caloundra City on March 15th 2008.

Almost as though to mark the fifth anniversary of this blog, in March 2013 the residents of Noosa voted to separate from the new City.

So after five years, a new and emerging story begins where the old story left off.
